Known for his soulful singing and inimitable playing of guitar and banjo, Lotus’ remarkable live performances always include something unusual. Tif Ginn lives in a shack on the north shore of Lake Erie in Ontario, Canada with her husband and kid. She was born & raised in Texas but has been living in Canada for the last 5 years. She is slowly freezing to death. To postpone her inevitable demise, she tours relentlessly with her husband, preferable in warmer climates as often as she can.

Kalyna Rakel has always done things her own way. After early success at 16 with a video on Much Music, she walked away from a pop record deal in Europe to teach herself guitar and play music on the street. Since then she has recorded four independent albums and played her songs for thousands of people all around the world.

Marty Beecroft is a music producer, singer, songwriter, and film producer based out of Barrie, Ontario. He is currently working on his own contemporary country project as well as producing/mixing tracks and playing acoustic guitar at live shows for country singer Amy Rose.

For the past four years Cornfield has been booking and managing Burdock Music Hall, a small venue in the west end of Toronto. The job has offered her stability and a strong sense of place in Toronto’s bursting-at-the-gills music community. S

Jonathan Byrd CASSIE DASILVA Cassie Dasilva is a singer-songwriter from smalltown Ontario. Several hilariously failed attempts at a love life have inspired her committed relationship with music. The young artist is clumsily navigating the world, writing songs and preparing for her debut release.

Andrew Cash is a Canadian singer-songwriter and an NDP politician who was the Member of Parliament for the Toronto-area Davenport electoral district from 2011 to 2015. He grew up in Toronto, where he and Charlie Angus founded the Toronto punk band L'Étranger. In the late 1990s he wrote for the Toronto weekly Now.

Cash draws on influences from 70’s Rock and Roll, 90’s Americana, Y2K Indie Rock, and current pop music—which all comes together to bring a uniquely simple and poignant style of song writing, where he weaves compelling stories that touch on the heart of the something that listeners can relate too.

Schmidt has six LP's to her writing credit, along with a range of singles, collaborations with artists as wide ranging as hardcore punk phenomenon Fucked Up, to the inimitable USGirls, and Old Time and Bluegrass veteran Chris Coole.

A prolific songwriter, Lily Frost currently has 12 albums under her belt, under 5 different labels — Warner, Nettwerk, Aporia, Boxton and Marquis. Lily Frost comes from the Montreal underground mod scene. She moved to Vancouver and went from busking rockabilly to spearheading the Cocktail nation with her band The Colorifics who led the Blue Lizard Lounge scene throughout the 90’s.

Gillis gained Canadian national attention via her recordings and live performances. As a performer she has toured with such artists as Josh Ritter, Eliza Gilkyson, Jeremy Fisher and Ani Difranco, and opened for Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin and John Prine. Her other appearances have included festival dates throughout North America, a one-year residency at New York City’s The Living Room, and a SXSW endorsed showcase.

Sarah Morano, bass player for the indie rock band, The Rip Nancies, whose ripping tones and up-beat garage rock will have you quickly dancing along. A force of underground sounds that bleed both contemporary and classic.

In late October Chantal has released her first EP'Call You Later'. Chantal was proud to put out a short Country-Pop album that was all her own original music but she felt that something was missing. Justin Nozuka began writing his own songs at the age of 12. Since then he has continued to impress every person who comes across him. His debut album ‘Holly’ was released in 2007 to critical acclaim when Justin was 17 years old.

Jory Nash is an award-winning singer-songwriter and storyteller who blends elements of folk, jazz, blues, pop & soul into an original stew of sound. He has recorded 8 critically acclaimed albums. the most recent being his Spring 2015 release The Many Hats of Jory Nash.
